يسرا جزار: "طموح الألقاب في سباق باها أبوظبي"

Saudi champion Yusra Jazar, along with her navigator Faisal Al-Suwaih, is preparing for a new challenge in the second season of the Abu Dhabi Baja race, which kicks off on October 12th. Yusra hopes to achieve a significant accomplishment through this participation, which she sees as a launchpad for her journey towards winning local and international titles.

Faisal Al-Suwaih, who will be the first Saudi woman to co-drive a rally, is considered one of the most prominent co-drivers in the world of rallying. Al-Suwaih boasts an impressive record of achievements, having shone in the 2024 Dakar Rally in the Stock category, where he reached the podium alongside Captain Ibrahim Al-Muhanna, who holds a record of approximately 185 rally achievements.

Al-Suwaih's experience and exceptional skill in handling technical challenges and accurately assessing geographical terrain demonstrate his ability to achieve outstanding results. However, this event also presents Yosra with an opportunity to launch her career in rally racing, opening new horizons for her.

Al-Suwaih is considered the first Saudi co-driver to win the Dakar Rally, and he has participated in numerous local and international rally races. He achieved many accomplishments, including a runner-up finish in the quad category at the World Rally Championships, before turning to navigation.

Thus, motorsport fans are expecting outstanding results from this duo, as both Yosra and Al-Suwaih seek to achieve accomplishments that will contribute to enhancing the Kingdom’s position in the world of extreme sports.
