
Japanese rider Hikari Okubo of the Fide Fit team won the Dubai E-Scooter Racing Cup, which was organized for the first time in the Middle East by the International Federation of Micromobility and Sports (FIMS) and the Dubai Sports Council. The event was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, who crowned the top three winners. Also present were Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Council; Nasser Aman Al Rahma, Assistant Secretary General; Alex Wurz, President of the International Federation; Khalil Bashir, Vice President for Sports; and Lucas di Grassi, Brazilian, United Nations Ambassador for Sustainability, former Formula 1 driver, and Formula E World Champion. Dubai Design District transformed into an exciting arena, as spectators flocked to watch the exciting competitions, which included 16 of the best names in the sport, both male and female, competing in a knockout-style race on a meticulously designed street circuit, providing an exceptional experience for viewers. They gained an up-close view of this exceptional sport, hosted by Dubai as part of the UAE's Year of Sustainability. Spectators watched as cyclists from across the globe joined the six teams, specifically from the United States, Great Britain, India, South Africa, Estonia, Japan, Spain, the Republic of Ireland, Switzerland, and Italy.
