The quarter-final matches of the AFC Asian Cup in Qatar have been determined.

Tajikistan qualified for the quarter-finals after defeating the UAE on penalties (5-3) after the match ended in a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time.
Uzbekistan qualified for the quarter-finals after defeating Thailand 2-1, setting up a date with Qatar.
The South Korean national team qualified for the quarter-finals after defeating Saudi Arabia 4-2 on penalty kicks, after the regular and extra time ended in a 1-1 draw.
For its part, the Qatari team advanced to the next round after a difficult victory over its Palestinian counterpart (2-1).
Australia easily defeated Indonesia 4-0. Australia easily defeated a weak Indonesian team and reached the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Japan defeated Bahrain 3-1 to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup.
Iran's players qualified for the quarter-finals after defeating Syria 5-3 on penalties, after the regular and extra time ended in a 1-1 draw.
