Nejmeh and Ahed reach the semi-finals of the Lebanese Football Cup

Al-Najma qualified for the semi-finals of the Lebanese Cup after defeating their traditional rivals, Al-Ansar, 1-0 in a match held Sunday afternoon at the Fouad Chehab Stadium in Jounieh. Ali Al-Fadl scored the winning goal in the 93rd minute. Al-Najma will face Al-Riyadi Jouaya, who defeated Al-Safa. In another match, Al-Ahed also qualified for the semi-finals by defeating Al-Tadamon Sour 3-1. The match was held at Ansar Stadium in the south. The winning goals were scored by Mohammad Al-Anz in the 75th minute, Mohammad Al-Masri in the 84th minute, and Fadl Antar in the 92nd minute. The lone goal for the losing side was scored by Mozambican player Gildo Evelonclos in the 74th minute. Al-Ahed will face Al-Hikma, who defeated Al-Mabarrah.
