
The thirteenth round of the Lebanese Football League concluded on Sunday afternoon. The results of this round primarily benefited Al-Ansar, who topped the standings with 32 points, extending their lead to five points over their closest rivals, Al-Najma and Al-Ahed, who each have 27 points. Meanwhile, Al-Riyadi Jouya remained in fourth place with 23 points after being held to a goalless draw by their hosts, Al-Riyadi Al-Abbasiya, in a match played at the Mohammed Saad Stadium in Jouya. At the Fouad Chehab Sports Complex, Al-Ahed narrowly defeated Racing 2-0. The goals were scored by Senegalese striker Idrissa Niang in the 58th minute and Racing defender Elie Baradei, who scored an own goal in the 70th minute.
