Training course for Kung Fu instructors

The Lebanese Wushu Kung Fu Federation held a training course for trainers in the Sanda style at the Kozbis Complex in Yarzeh, as part of its annual calendar for 2024.
The course was supervised by the Federation President Dr. George Nasr and the Secretary General Bassam Nahra, and organized by the Head of the Coaches Committee Fares Al-Khoury.
The national team coach, Ryan Maraab, attended the course and was assisted by coach Shady Milan.
The head of the Kinda Committee, coach Patrick Balaa, and more than 40 coaches representing Lebanese clubs from all regions attended.
Naseer explained that the goal is to learn about modern techniques and rules in light of the international development of the game, and because Lebanon has become a tough number among countries after coming in third place in the world championship held in the United States late last year. He continued, "We must maintain this international level."
Nahra said, "This course also aims to regulate the entry of coaches during federation activities, especially during matches, and to reduce objections when the coach is more familiar with the new laws and instructions. It will be followed by courses to conduct an exam and classification according to grades."
In turn, Marab said, "I will share my international experience with the audience, as well as the method we use to help Lebanese players reach international status, with a detailed explanation of how to score points in the Sanda style, which relies on calculating points, and the methods for winning using advanced techniques."
After that, the identification cards were distributed to the coaches, which allowed them to participate as coaches recognized by the Federation.
