Al-Anwar Club visited MP Kanaan to offer Easter greetings

A delegation from Al-Anwar Club of Jdeideh, headed by its president George Yazbek, visited MP Ibrahim Kanaan at his home in Rabieh to congratulate him on Easter. The delegation included the club's secretary and treasurer of the Lebanese Volleyball Federation, Ziad Yazbek; the club and team manager, George Joseph Yazbek; board members Ghassan Khoury (mukhtar of Jdeideh); Raymond Kanaan and Mansour Yazbek (members of the Jdeideh-Bouchrieh-Sed municipality); and Elias Kanaan.
MP Kanaan thanked the Al-Anwar delegation for their visit and greetings, wishing for the return of the Lebanese Volleyball Championship matches and all other sports to their normal life, and that the competitions be completed in an atmosphere of fair challenge and high sportsmanship, and that the Al-Anwar team succeeds at the end of the championship in raising the championship cup and bringing it back to the Metn coast, stressing his constant support for the club in all its future endeavors and milestones, as well as his support for all sports clubs in the Metn district.
For his part, Yazbek promised MP Kanaan that the Anwar team would live up to his expectations and be worthy of the great responsibility that the people of the northern Metn region place on its shoulders, pledging to proceed with the same momentum, steadfastness and determination to reach the desired goals and fulfill the hopes and dreams of the Anwar club’s fans and its many supporters in various Lebanese regions.
