
The Lebanese women's under-18 basketball team has departed for Shenzhen, China, to participate in the Asian Under-18 Championship (Level B), which will be held between June 24 and 30.
The following are the names of the members of the mission:
Sami Nasser (President), Tamara Khalil (Administrator), Greek Ioannis Diamantakos (Coach), Alan Saab and Caesar Lahoud (Assistant Coaches), Joe Hakim (Fitness), Marie Joe Hakim (Physical Therapist), Jennifer Ammouri (International Referee), Naya Barakat, Reem Ghali, Karen Hoteit, Maygen Naasan, Tia Awad, Elisa Abou Jaoude, Lynn Abi Mosleh, Lara Al Nakib, Miana Faraj, Angelina Badou, Maya Barakat, Sarina Ajami and Ruqaya Ajami (Players).
The countries participating in the continental championship were divided into two groups as follows:
Group 1: Samoa, Iran, Hong Kong and Kyrgyzstan.
Group Two: The Philippines, Lebanon, Syria and the Maldives.
Lebanon will begin its first-round matches on Monday against Syria, on Tuesday against the Philippines, and on Wednesday against the Maldives.
It should be noted that the team that wins the championship qualifies for the first level for this age group in the Asian continent.
