The youth team leaves for the Emirates

The Lebanese U-20 national football team departed this morning, Friday, for the UAE to play two friendly matches against its Emirati counterpart on January 21 and 24 at the main stadium of Fujairah Club (3:00 PM Beirut time).

The national team delegation, headed by Lebanese Football Association member Wael Chehayeb, includes Bilal Fleifel (coach), Hussam Al-Daqduqi (team manager), Bilal Zaghloul (assistant coach), Abbas Sheet (goalkeeper coach), Bilal Alawieh (fitness coach), Abdulrahman Abboud (physical therapist), and Mohammed Al-Shami (equipment manager).
In addition to 22 players who were selected by the national team's technical staff, led by Fleifel, they are: Hassan Salami, Hassan Jaafar, Ali Faqih, Ryan Al-Khoury, William Sinan, Hassan Nasser, Mahmoud Seif El-Din, Mahdi Assili, Ibrahim Mahna, Mohammed Qassas, Qasim Watfa, Karim Qasim, Fadi Al-Zayat, Joseph Al-Bitar, Joe Al-Khawaja, Rawad Al-Jaitani, Miguel Karam, Christian Awkar, Anis Nehme, Mansour Al-Masry, Joseph Al-Hajj and Issa Baydoun.
The matches are in preparation for the third West Asian Youth Championship, scheduled to be held from June 1 to 11, 2024, followed by the 2025 AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers, which will be held from September 21 to 29, 2024.
