Davis Cup: Lebanon vs. Syria meeting in September

The draw for the Davis Cup placed Lebanon against Syria during the draw conducted by the International Tennis Federation. The two teams will meet on September 17, 18, and 19 in World Group II as they strive to return to World Group I. Syria will choose the venue for the matches.
Lebanon lost to Taiwan (1-3) in the decisive match to qualify for World Group I, while Syria beat Ireland (3-2) last week in World Group II.
It is noted that Lebanon is ranked 52nd globally, while Syria is ranked 64th globally.
