Saeed on the eve of the opening of the Salam Club stadium in Salima: We will compete seriously in all tournaments

The Al-Salam Cultural and Sports Club of Salima will inaugurate its new stadium at 7:00 PM tomorrow, Saturday, in the presence of sports, municipal, and social figures, as well as a large crowd of residents from the town and surrounding areas. The program will include the national anthem, followed by speeches from Ms. Bushra Alami Al-Masri and the club's president, Osama Saeed. A theatrical dance performance from a bygone era will then take place, followed by a musical performance by the Al-Masri family, before concluding with an exciting volleyball match between the Al-Shabiba Al-Bushri team. (First Division) and Al Salam, the host (Second Division), with matches to be completed on Sunday and Monday in volleyball, futsal, and basketball. On the eve of the stadium's opening, Saeed called for the widest possible attendance and participation in this occasion, stressing that the stadium's doors will be open – as they always have been – to all sports enthusiasts from various Lebanese regions, especially for volleyball, basketball, and futsal, sports in which the club officially participates and achieves remarkable results. He pointed out that Al-Salam Club's goal is to build an enclosed hall on the grounds of the sports complex, which will be constructed in five phases. He added, "During the summer, we completed the first two phases, which included building the playing surface to modern specifications, in addition to part of the stands. The third phase will include building a spacious floor with the stands behind it. The fourth phase will include the construction of the fourth floor, which will house a gym, halls dedicated to exercise and fitness, and other facilities. The project will conclude with the construction of the final roof at the end of the fifth phase. On this occasion, I would like to thank all the advertisers and supporters of our club who have placed their trust in us, and we promise them that we will always live up to their expectations and fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to us." Saeed recalled that Al-Salam's volleyball team had a strong run in the second division championship last season, and was close to qualifying for the final round and securing a place in the first division. He emphasized that his club will not accept anything less than a genuine challenge for the title next season, and to that end, it has signed a number of distinguished players. Some centers retained a number of players who defended its colors last season, stressing that the second division championship will be very fierce with more than one club preparing seriously and effectively to qualify for the first division at the end of the season. On the other hand, Saeed pointed out that his club is also competing in the fourth division basketball championship and the second division futsal championship, in addition to volleyball, praising his players in the three sports, and the technical staff who coordinate with the club's management to present the best and most beautiful and achieve the desired results. He also praised his colleagues in the administrative committee who are making great efforts and working tirelessly to put the club's interest above all considerations.
