A statement issued by the Lebanese Basketball Federation

The Lebanese Basketball Federation issued the following statement: The Lebanese Basketball Federation is fully fulfilling its duties in managing the sport of basketball in accordance with international and local regulations, and in adherence to the principles of justice, equality, and fairness within the basketball family, including all its members and associations. This tireless, uninterrupted work over the past years has contributed to the development and advancement of the game, away from the spotlight, statements, and media hype. Any association or individual who considers themselves harmed by any decision issued by the Federation must, in accordance with public order, resort to the Objection and Appeals Committee and file an appeal before it. Issuing statements and the like has no place in the work of sports federations and clubs. This approach to addressing the Federation is completely unacceptable and does not reflect professionalism. Furthermore, it is unbecoming of the issuer of the statement or the federation to which it is addressed. The Federation will continue to perform its role in accordance with regulations and principles, avoiding media hype that remains pointless and fruitless.
