Crossbow delegation to Baghdad to participate in the Asian Championship

The Lebanese Archery Federation delegation left Beirut to participate in the Asian Men's Championship, hosted by the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, from February 20 to 25, with the participation of 24 continental countries. The delegation included Jack Al-Rayes, the Lebanese champion, team captain and head of the delegation, in addition to players Najm Al-Din Wehbe and Ismail Ibrahim. Meanwhile, player Wadih Matar apologized for participating in the last few hours due to his personal work in the United Arab Emirates.
On this occasion, the Vice President of the Lebanese Olympic Committee, President of the Archery Federation and Vice President of the European Federation, Jack Tamer, thanked the President of the Iraqi Federation, the host of the tournament and member of the Executive Office of the Asian Federation, Saad Al-Mashhadani, who covered the costs of the Lebanese delegation’s participation, including travel tickets, accommodation and transportation, as well as his assistant, Mohammed Fayyad, who coordinated and followed up between the Iraqi and Lebanese federations to facilitate the players’ affairs and provide them with all the necessary comfort there.
