A cooperation protocol between the Lebanese Olympic Committee and LBCI

The Lebanese Olympic Committee, represented by its President, Dr. Pierre Jalakh, and the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International (LBCI), represented by its Chairman of the Board, Sheikh Pierre Daher, signed a cooperation protocol to keep pace with and cover the preparations and competitions of the Lebanese delegation that will participate in the Summer Olympic Games (Paris - 2024) during the period from July 26 to August 11.

The signing ceremony, which took place at the Olympic Committee headquarters in Baabda, was attended by Dr. Jalakh and Sheikh Daher, as well as members of the Olympic Committee's Executive Committee, including Vice Presidents Jack Tamer and Asaad Nakhle, Secretary General Jawdat Shaker, Treasurer Attorney Francois Saadeh, Committee Member Rafi Mamjoghlian, Head of the Sports Department at LBCI Khaled Mjaess, and journalist Mona Yacoub from the Sports Department.

After that, the President of the Olympic Committee, Dr. Pierre Jalakh, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBCI), Sheikh Pierre Daher, signed the cooperation protocol, and the two sides exchanged copies.

In conclusion, Dr. Jalakh presented Sheikh Al-Daher with the Olympic Committee's gilded shield as a token of thanks and appreciation. Then commemorative photos were taken and a cocktail reception was held on the occasion.

It is worth noting that the cooperation protocol includes, in its basics, the role assigned and expected from LBCI station in terms of covering the participation of the Lebanese delegation in the Olympic event through news investigations with administrators, coaches and players, which deal with the technical and logistical preparations before traveling to Paris, with daily messages later from the heart of the event that deal with the results of the delegation’s competitions through a team that will be sent by the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International to Paris for this purpose.
