Endorsement elections in the Lebanese Judo Federation

The Lebanese Judo Federation and its branches witnessed elections by acclamation to choose a new administrative committee headed by lawyer Francois Saadeh, during the electoral general assembly held at the Regency Palace Hotel (Adma) in the presence of the Vice President of the Olympic Committee, Asaad Nakhle, and representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in addition to representatives of 18 clubs out of 22 that are entitled to vote.

The session began with the Lebanese national anthem, followed by the reading of the administrative and financial reports by Secretary General Abdo Ayoub, which were unanimously approved. His Excellency praised the outstanding international achievements of the judo players despite the difficult circumstances, highlighting the Federation's focus on age groups and the development of young talent.

The elections resulted in the nine members winning by acclamation after Dr. Habib Ta’meh withdrew, and the positions were distributed as follows: Francois Saadeh (President), Kamal Nakouzi and Youssef Abu Samra (Vice Presidents), Pierre Bou Abboud (Secretary), Ali Zgheib (Treasurer), Antoine Asbou (Accountant), and Hanna Arouadi, Antonio Saadeh, and Lea Farhat (Advisory Members).
