Lebanese results in the Paris Olympics

The Lebanese delegation's competitions continued in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, witnessing some failures alongside continuous attempts to excel.

Table tennis player Mariana Sahakian began her campaign with a tough match against American Lily Zhang, ranked 28th in the world, but lost 0-4. The sets were as follows: (7-11), (6-11), (4-11), (6-11). Despite the loss, the president of the Lebanese Table Tennis Federation, George Koubli, praised Sahakian's performance, emphasizing that she played strongly and tried hard to counter Zhang's superior abilities, but the latter's experience and technical skills ultimately prevailed.

In the tennis competition, the Lebanese duo of Hadi Habib and Benjamin Hassan faced the Australian pair of Matthew Ebden and John Peers in a doubles match. Despite a strong performance from the Lebanese pair, they lost in straight sets (6-7, 2-6).
