Coach James Hamed reveals the latest developments at Racing Club.

Coach James Hamid confirmed that the situation at Racing Club is expected to become clearer early next week, within hours, and that the administration is working to find a way out of the current predicament. He emphasized his stance on the necessity of continuing the season, despite the extremely complex and sensitive circumstances. The technical director of the "White Castle" team believes that Racing, like the other clubs, is awaiting the decision that the Lebanese Football Federation will make regarding how to complete the current season. He noted that the current situation in the country makes any decision extremely complicated, especially since many clubs are finding it difficult to conduct their training sessions as usual and are barely able to gather their players, particularly as the majority of those residing outside Beirut are facing numerous challenges. He believes that the Federation and its president, Engineer Hashem Haidar, will undoubtedly take the right stance, as usual, in a way that preserves the interests of the game and its clubs, as well as all aspects of the Lebanese football family. He expressed his hope that the clubs, despite the difficult circumstances, will unite and cooperate to support this effort and avoid the bickering that only complicates matters further, even though no one can deny the effort they are making and the sacrifices they are making. However, it is expected to keep pace with any positive trend that serves the continuity of the game and thus translates its aspirations. He reiterated his proposal to cancel the relegation rule exceptionally this season and find a mechanism to complete the league starting from the top four, noting that this formula will find both supporters and opponents, and this is normal in sports in general and football in particular, but ultimately, a solution must be found to this dilemma. He expressed his confidence that the federation will have a way out and a solution that satisfies all clubs. Coach James hoped that the Lebanese state would support the game and extend a helping hand to its community, and that it would communicate with sister and friendly countries in order to provide everything that helps football to return and rise again, as the situation is very difficult. He also called for raising the attacks on sports facilities with international bodies, as well as the targeting that occurs near training sites, especially the incident that occurred while children were playing, as this is a crime that cannot be ignored. He pointed out that the atmosphere for playing football is extremely difficult; those not directly injured have suffered indirectly through their families, relatives, and even friends. Everyone is affected, if not materially, then emotionally. However, the reality is that we must maintain the game and let it be a message of defiance against the aggression.
