
Lebanese referees have completed their technical and physical preparations for the 2025-2026 season, within a distinguished course organized by the Lebanese Football Federation under the supervision of the International Federation, and in which the Uzbek lecturer Farhad Abdullayev and the international lecturer, the head of the Technical and Development Committee in the Lebanese Federation, Tamer Darri, lectured.
The course lasted a full week and included theoretical lectures, law tests, video refereeing cases, and physical testing for international referees and first and second division referees at the Beirut Municipal Stadium, under the supervision of international lecturers and the person in charge of physical preparation in the referees committee, Samer El-Sayed Qassem.
The opening session was attended by Executive Committee members and Referees Committee Chairmen Mahmoud Rabah and Musa Makki, and Secretary General Jihad Al-Shahaf. Representatives from all First Division clubs also participated in a lecture on the new amendments to the refereeing laws.
The federation announced the formation of a new referees committee comprising veteran members with the aim of raising the technical and administrative level of Lebanese referees locally and internationally.
