وتؤكّد استمرار المسيرة الناجحة

The General Assembly of the Lebanese Taekwondo Federation unanimously approved all amendments to the internal regulations during its meeting held at the Le Royal Hotel in Dbayeh, in the presence of the Federation President, Dr. Habib Zarifeh, members of the Administrative Committee, and club representatives.

The session opened with the Lebanese national anthem, then Acting Secretary Elie Nehme announced that the legal quorum was met with the presence of 42 clubs out of 59 clubs that have the right to vote.

Zarifa delivered a speech welcoming the attendees and emphasizing the federation's continued success despite attempts to obstruct it. He also thanked the club representatives for their active participation. Furthermore, he congratulated the young players Chris Khoury and Jane Abboud on qualifying for the European Grand Prix, which will be held in Estonia, noting that their qualification is a significant achievement given the difficult circumstances in Lebanon.

Zarifa emphasized that the federation had developed a work plan nine years ago that resulted in achievements, most notably qualifying for the Paris Olympics, promising to achieve more in the future.

The session concluded with the reading of the minutes of the previous general assembly and the new amendments to the system, both of which were unanimously approved, in a move that reflects the unity of the Taekwondo family and its determination to continue development.
