البطلة العالمية داريا بيلوديد في مهرجان بيروت الرياضي

Ukrainian world judo champion Daria Bilodid arrived in Beirut early Wednesday morning, at the invitation of the Lebanese Judo Federation, to participate in the third edition of the "OMT Beirut Sports Festival" which will be held between April 30 and May 4.

Belodid received an official welcome in the VIP lounge at Rafik Hariri International Airport, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Federation, Pierre Bou Abboud , its Director, Francois Saadeh Jr. , and Lebanese champion Aquilina Chaib , in addition to a number of officials from the Ukrainian Embassy .

Bilodid boasts several notable titles, including two World Championships , three European Championships , and a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics . The Ukrainian champion expressed her delight at visiting Lebanon and invited players to participate in the training course she is holding at the Forum de Beyrouth on May 1st and 2nd.

She will also visit President General Joseph Aoun at Baabda Palace, and a reception will be held in her honor at the Ukrainian Embassy . Her visit will conclude with a training course at the Buda-Adma Club on Saturday, May 3.
