The Lebanese University Sports Federation launches a fundraising campaign to support displaced people.

The Lebanese University Sports Federation launched a fundraising campaign for displaced families from villages in southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut who have been relocated to the shelter at the Camille Chamoun Sports City following the Israeli aggression against Lebanon. This initiative was initiated by the Federation's administrative committee, based on its belief in the necessity of encouraging acts of assistance and solidarity during these difficult times facing the country, and its commitment to strengthening the spirit of unity within society, particularly in university and sports circles. The Federation called upon universities, students, athletes, and all those able to contribute to this humanitarian campaign, whether through in-kind or monetary donations of any value, to support displaced families and provide them with all their needs in the shelters, especially at the Sports City, where hundreds of families have been forcibly relocated. The Federation emphasized that sports are not limited to competition on the field, but also carry a humanitarian and social message, stressing the importance of standing with those affected and extending a helping hand to them during this critical period.
