In a move reflecting the solidarity between the federation and the clubs, the Lebanese Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Federation held an expanded meeting with the attendance of about 50 coaches at Hall 1188 Jbeil, where the meeting focused on strategies for developing the game and enhancing cooperation between the concerned parties.

The Federation President, Ahmed Hazer, opened the meeting with a speech emphasizing the importance of teamwork in advancing the sport. He affirmed the Federation's commitment to supporting clubs and athletes and providing a suitable environment for the growth of mixed martial arts in Lebanon. Secretary General Wissam Abi Nader then presented a comprehensive overview of the annual work plan, addressing key challenges and future directions. Vice President Louay Qablawi clarified some misconceptions about the sport, stressing that it is governed by strict regulations that ensure the safety of the athletes.

The federation also announced the launch of the "Loyalty Card," which offers coaches and players special benefits, along with a commitment to WADA anti-doping regulations to ensure the integrity of competitions. In the context of supporting women, Lebanon's prominent role in promoting female participation in combat sports was highlighted, with Valeria Galkian being appointed head of the Asian Federation's Women's Committee.

The meeting concluded with the announcement that Lebanon will host the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Championship in Jounieh next September, a historic achievement that reflects Lebanon’s standing in this sport, amid broad support from clubs and coaches, who affirmed their complete confidence in the Lebanese Federation and its new board of directors.
