
Beirut First Club Basketball Academy, which includes more than 250 players of various age groups, organized a meeting with the parents of the academy's students for the boys' and girls' teams under 8, under 10, under 12, under 14, under 16, and under 18. The meeting took place on Saturday, January 7, 2024, in the lecture hall of the Shiyah Sports and Cultural Complex in the Shiyah area. The meeting was attended by club president Nadim Hakim, secretary general Joseph Abdel Massih, and the parents of the students, who were briefed by the team on the development programs adopted by the academy. The team, which has been supervising the academy for approximately two months, includes director Daniel Kara and coaches Elias Moawad, Elie Merheb, Eve Kara, Rudy Khoury, Christina Baddou, Ihab Moqbel, and Anthony Tamer. Each of them explained, according to their specialization, the mechanism of work to develop the individual skills and physical fitness of the players, and how to rely on themselves, while emphasizing the importance of the relationship between parents and their children players before, during and after the match, and the mutual trust between all parties with the aim of achieving the best results. At the end of the meeting, the coaches answered the questions of the parents, who in turn thanked the club management for its keenness and vigilance in providing the best programs for the academy players.
