Asia is run wisely

Japanese referee Yoshimi Yamashita became the first woman to officiate a match in the Asian Cup finals, during the match scheduled between Australia and India in the tournament scheduled to be held in Qatar, in a first in the history of the continental tournament, which began 68 years ago.
Yamashita (37 years old) has a great record in refereeing matches. She was the first to referee a match in the Japanese League in 2022, and she was the main referee for the opening match of the Women's World Cup between Australia and New Zealand in 2023. She has also held the international badge since 2015. She is one of five female referees participating in the eighteenth edition of the Asian Cup.
