Neymar misses Brazil

Rodrigo Lasmar, the Brazilian national team doctor, confirmed that Neymar will miss participating in the Copa America in the summer of 2024.

The 31-year-old Brazilian star had surgery on the cruciate ligament of the knee, which will keep him out of action until the end of this season.

Neymar was injured during the match between Brazil and Uruguay last October in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, noting that the Brazilian star signed a contract with Al Hilal Saudi Arabia for two seasons, in exchange for 90 million euros.
