Press reports stated that the English club Liverpool has identified a replacement for German Jurgen Klopp, who announced his departure after the end of the current season.
Sources close to the club explained that Italian Roberto De Zerbe, coach of the English team Brighton, is one of the potential replacements to take over the leadership of Liverpool as Klopp's successor, but this does not mean that this decision is final, because the English administration is still in an exploratory stage.
It is worth noting that Zerbe was also linked to taking over the task of supervising Barcelona, succeeding Xavi Hernandez, who also announced his departure from his team next June.
It is noteworthy that the 44-year-old coach has a contract with Brighton that expires in June 2026.
