A new European Union decision

UEFA officially announced that it has informed all teams participating in Euro 2024 that only team captains will be able to approach the referee in matches, and any other player who approaches him and shows any sign of disrespect or opposition will be warned.
If the team captain is a goalkeeper, then one of his teammates can be nominated to communicate with the referees.
