Goyo is a Chelsea player

English club Chelsea have officially announced the signing of French midfielder Mathieu Guyot from French club Rennes for 40 million euros, after he successfully passed the medical examination in London. He signed a five-year contract with Chelsea, and will become the fourth French player to join Chelsea this summer after Wesley Fofana, Christian Pulisic and Koulou Kolo.

The 23-year-old is a promising midfielder who shone for Rennes last season, scoring 10 goals and providing 7 assists in 43 games. He is expected to bolster Chelsea's midfield, which is suffering from a lack of creativity, especially after Jorginho left for Arsenal.
On the other hand, the signing of Goyo is an important step in Chelsea's plans for the next season, as the club seeks to win the English Premier League title, which it last won seven years ago.
