Schwanke is coach of Zamalek

Zamalek Club management, headed by Hussein Labib, announced its contract with Brazilian Carlos Schwanke to coach the volleyball team. This decision came after the team lost the league, cup and super cup at the hands of Al-Ahly.

Schwanke (50 years old) previously led the Brazilian national team between 2019 and 2023. He also trained several clubs, most notably Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia, Al-Rayyan Qatar, in addition to the Bahrain national team, and then supervised the Mexico national team before moving to Zamalek.
