The Board of Directors of Zamalek Club, headed by Hussein Labib, succeeded in contracting Brazilian Sidney Luciano Bapke to take over the technical task of the first volleyball team in the White Castle, until the end of the current season.
The Brazilian coach has a large resume, as he previously worked as an assistant coach with the Brazilian national team, and he also had several experiences in Japan, the Emirates and Bahrain.
The Zamalek volleyball team is preparing to complete the current season’s competitions with the league and cup championships, in addition to the African Championship, scheduled for next April.
Zamalek officials are seeking to strengthen the plane team, in order to restore stability to the group again.
Al-Ahly won the Egyptian Super Cup, after defeating Zamalek, 3-1, last month.
