Barcelona is the champion of the European Women's Champions League

Spain's Barcelona won the Women's Champions League by defeating France's Olympique Lyonnais 2-0, at San Mames Stadium in the Spanish city of Bilbao, in the final match of the tournament.

The first half ended in a goalless draw before Aitana Bonmatti shone and scored the lead goal for Barcelona in the 63rd minute. Alexia Botias confirmed the victory for the Catalan club by scoring the second goal in stoppage time.

Barcelona won the Champions League title for the third time in its history, after winning the title for the first time in 2021.
Lyon tops the list of clubs that have won the Women's Champions League with 8 titles, the last of which was in 2022.
