European Champions: Arsenal and Bayern... Loved ones

English Arsenal settled for a 2-2 draw with its German guest, Bayern Munich, at the Emirates Stadium in London, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.

Arsenal did not benefit from their lead with a goal scored by Bukayo Saka in the 12th minute, because the Bavarian team equalized in the 18th minute with a goal scored by Serge Gnabry.

The referee of the match awarded a penalty kick after Arsenal defender William Saliba obstructed German winger Leroy Sane, and Harry Kane successfully fired the kick to the left of David Raya, scoring a second goal for Bayern in the 32nd minute.

Arsenal succeeded in equalizing in the second half in the 76th minute, with a goal scored by Leandro Trossard with a direct shot into the net.
